We are delighted to welcome you to this dedicated staff recruitment website. We hope it gives you an insight into Kenilworth School and Sports College, our aspirations for the future and, most importantly, how we will make our ambition of becoming an outstanding school, a reality.

The school has strong academic and pastoral foundations and is now ready to take achievement of all children to a higher level. Our standards are amongst the highest in the county, but we can do better. Our team will continue to drive progress for each individual student and help us shape a future built around high aspirations, high achievement and the best opportunities for all our students. While we celebrate our successes to date we know we can achieve even more, which is why we aim to be recognised as an outstanding school by 2010.

We place strong emphasis on pastoral care and supporting our students with their academic progress and personal development. Our students feel proud of their school and enjoy attending a place where they are treated as individuals. There is a keen emphasis on extra-curricular activities at Kenilworth School and Sports College, including out-of-school clubs, in which a large number of our students are involved. Whilst as a Sports College we encourage the student body to be involved in a variety of physical activities and sports, we aim, in a short time, to add Modern Foreign Languages as a second specialism.

Partnerships are also key to our ambitions and we are developing increasingly closer links with the University of Warwick to the benefit of both communities. The governors of Kenilworth School and Sports College are keen to continue its close relationships with its primary feeder schools as well as further developing its international, academic and entrepreneurial partnerships.

Since the autumn term 2008 we are a Trust and Foundation School and we will be working more closely with the University of Warwick as our main partner in the Trust for the benefit of our students.
